This brand is very popular when it comes to milestones and cognitive growth. It has different activities, depending on the stage your child is in and works on the growth of a child’s cognitive skills. Don’t get me wrong, it is a little over-priced but what you get out of it, it is worth it.
Fisher-price: Includes Deluxe Kick & Play Piano Gym and Rattle 'n Rock Maracas! This playmat has 4 ways to play as baby grows: Lay & Play, Tummy Time, Sit & Play, and Take-Along. There are a learning content changes with baby's age & stage with Smart Stages technology. Detachable keyboard with 5 light-up keys, 5 repositionable activity toys for the gym & 2 rattle maracas. Lastly, this playmat is Machine-washable, padded play mat features loops to attach the activity toys. If you are looking for a more affordable playmat, I recommend this one. It is very colorful, which helps with vision development, simple to transition when you child grows, and the piano music is soothing.
Baby Einstein: This product has 4-in-1 Kickin’ Tunes Music and Language Discovery Activity Gym supports fine and gross motor skill development. It has 4 modes include lay and play, sitting up, tummy time, on the go; Helps baby strengthen neck muscles during tummy time; Piano includes 25 plus minutes of continuous lights and music plus teaches colors, shapes, and numbers in 4 languages: English, Spanish, French, and German. It also brings 7 sensory toys to engage and promote fine and gross motor skills. The mat is machine washable, and the toys can be wiped clean. If you would like to raise your child bilingual or just would like your child to learn two or more languages at a young age, this is for you. Keep in mind that the younger the child, the easier it is to learn new skills (language is one of them).
